July Faves | Style

Hi hi! I'm back with another favorites for July. The past months have gone by so quickly and we've officially moved into our first apartment! That has been the highlight of my summer so far and I'm so excited to get to decorating, but I'll save that for another post.

The month of July started off with a mini weekend trip to San Francisco where Peter and I instantly fell in love with the city which I posted about recently and to hold on to those memories a little better I decided to get them printed which brings me to my first favorite! I know most of our photographs live in our camera rolls on our phones but I've always been a fan of how convenient and affordable Walgreens Photo App is. And now you can print cute little 4 x 4's straight from your Instagram account!

I'm planning to tape these up all throughout our place just as a nice reminder of our adventures we've had together so far! Each print is about 14 cents I believe and they always have photo printing coupons which make it an even better deal!

I love me some good skincare and like I always say "you only have one face" so might as well take the very best care of it as much as you can! I had been looking for a new face cleanser and was recommended this one by Origins called Checks and Balances. It truly is one of the best feelings to wash your face at the end of a long day and this has done the trick for my acne and texture of my skin. It's a frothy consistency and a little goes a long way! I've had this particular bottle for a couple of months now and it still looks full!

You know this wouldn't be a favorites post if I didn't include a piece of homeware in it! We've finally got to unpack all of our wedding gifts and the large amounts of hoarding I've done of plates and bowls and mugs from the past two years and these Lulie Wallace Melamine Plates from Anthropologie have been our go to's for light snacks and breakfast. I love the artwork on them as well as the easy maintenance of them. I think they just bring a smile to my face from being so bright and playful. They are quite affordable and come in two sizes. I'd love to take them on a picnic someday.

Last but certainly not least is my first favorite person! A good friend of mine since middle school who has always been an inspiration to me. She's honestly one of the most genuinely sweet, artistic, and honest people I have ever met and I'm happy we have stayed friends for all these years. Her name is Cynthia Javier and the way she writes tugs at my heart strings all day long.

You can find her on Tumblr writing her heart away and snippets of her adventures on Instagram so please check her out and tell her I sent you!  She is honestly the reason why I still love to blog as she reminds me of why I started in the first place so go and give her some love!

Here's to another month of 2017! I would love to know what kind of posts you'd like to see more from me in the comments below and hope you are having a wonderful day!
