October Favorites

Can I just say that if I could favorite a whole entire month, October would be it. This month was one of the best months of my life and I never say that. For this month's favorites I gravitated to specific products for comfort, purpose, and as always, details. It all began with that beautiful engagement ring below sitting pretty above its vintage jewelry box from Greece that I had purchased from Etsy. The ring itself is also a vintage piece my Fiance had purchased from Etsy so I thought they would go hand in hand. The jewelry box is covered in a gray leather with a white floral pattern and button closure. They were definitely meant to be <3

Whenever these pretty sets of bobby pins find their way to Anthropologie I get so excited for my hair! I've only owned one set before this and felt these pins were lovely for fall and I'm always a sucker for anything vintage or art deco inspired. It comes in a set of 6 and are a perfect hint of detail to a casual or festive outfit.

While Peter was here we had quite the adventure in Downtown Las Vegas and stumbled upon this little book store called the "Book Shop". I did the one thing you aren't supposed to do and judged this book by its cover and to my surprise it worked. I used to be an avid reader but lately nothing has caught my attention until I read the first page of this book entitled "The Folded Clock" A diary written by Heidi Julavits. I'm not even done reading it yet and I highly recommend it. The first page was my anchor and I've been hooked ever since. I read a little each night because I secretly don't want it to end. Her tone of voice is so honest as she puts a lot of things I've felt and wondered about into the best combination of words possible and I can't wait to read some more.

If you haven't already seen this glorious candle on my Instagram, all the more have smelt it yet you're missing out! I love pumpkin, but I'm picky about my pumpkin especially when it comes to candles. I hate too sweet, and I hate too spicy but this Pumpkin Clove candle by Capri Blue at Anthropologie is just enough of both to fill my room after a long day without even having to light it. Plus it comes in this art deco tin that's just pretty to look at.

Since the engagement my mind thinks about nothing but wedding plans (and how much I miss burgers). I thought I could handle planning simply with a Pinterest board and moley but I soon found out that wasn't the case. I gave in and bought this beautiful "Wee Hours" Rifle Paper Co. planner also from Anthropologie but is also sold through other retailers to fill with all the wedding details, contact info, and inspiration along the way.  I've always been the collaging type and having this spiral bound planner will allow me to paste my dreams onto the pages and hold it all together with an elastic band.

Last but not least of my favorites this month is this Polaroid Zip Mobile Photo Printer from Urban Outfitters which can also be purchased at multiple retailers. I had all these beautiful photos on my iphone with no where to put them. And as much as I wanted to splurge and go for the FujiFilm Instax Printer this bride is on a budget and needed to be practical. I also love how there is no ink involved as it uses Zink Paper to print which are also a lot more affordable and it has a sticky back for my journal. If you want to know a lot more in detail about this printer, my first ever tech review will be coming soon on t this little gadget so stay tuned!

Thank you again for all the love and support I've received this month, I hope you enjoyed my favorites for October and stick around for what I have in store for November! Happy Monday loves.
